A trendy Los Angeles-based clothing company, FreshJive, must be exposed to the American people for its promotion of terrorism through the garments it sells. While the company claims its t-shirt emblazoned with three pictures of Arab youths clutching machine guns, the so-called Palestinian flag, a map of the 1967 liberated territories, and the caption "Victimized" is now out-of-stock, FreshJive CEO Rick Klotz (pictured right) is boldly unashamed of glorifying Arab terrorism and un-Americanism! It is sad and embarrassing, yet not suprising, to recognize that Klotz is a Jew.
To show you just what kind of irresponsible company and owner we're dealing with is, another line of clothing from FreshJive is called the"Stormtrooper Division" (pictured left), complete with Arab-looking models. Another t-shirt for sale by FreshJive features a youthful Yasir Arafat along with the caption "THE GOOD OL [sic] DAYS." In case anyone is too young to know the history of modern-day Muslim/Arab terrorism, the image of Arafat on the shirt was taken the height of his brazenly murderous terrorism career. Here is a partial list of Arafat's terrorist deeds during those so-called "good ol' days" that Klotz apparently adores:
Arafat's "Good Ol' Days":
1969: Arafat becomes head of the PLO, an umbrella organization of Palestinian terrorist groups. The PLO charter calls for the destruction of Israel.
Feb. 21, 1970: A SwissAir flight bound for Tel Aviv is bombed in mid-flight by PFLP, a PLO member group. 47 people are killed.
May 8, 1970: PLO terrorists fire a bazooka into an Israeli school bus, killing nine pupils and three teachers from Moshav Avivim.
1972: The PLO blows up a West German electricity plant, a Dutch gas plant, and an oil refinery in Italy.
May 1972: The PFLP, a PLO group, dispatches members of the Japanese Red Army to attack Lod Airport in Tel Aviv, killing 27.
Sept. 5, 1972: Under Arafat's command, 11 Israeli athletes are murdered at the Munich Olympics by the PLO's "Black September."
1973: Under Arafat's command, PLO's Black September takes an American Ambassador (Amb. Cleo Noel) and his deputy hostage (Curtis Moore) in Sudan's capital and murders them.
April 11, 1974: 11 Israelis are killed by PLO terrorists who attack an apartment building in Kiryat Shmona.
May 15, 1974: PLO terrorists infiltrating Israel from Lebanon take children hostage at a school in Ma'alot, killing 26. Most were 15 year old girls.
1976: PLO assassins murder the US Ambassador to Lebanon and PLO attacks against Israel (from Lebanon) continue.
March 1978: Fatah terrorists take over an Israeli bus on the Haifa-Tel Aviv highway and kill 21 passengers.
Feb. 11, 1980: "Peace for us means the destruction of Israel," Arafat tells Venezuela's El Mundo news source.
1982: After creating a terrorist mini-state in Lebanon and destabilizing that nation, the PLO is expelled when Israel invades as a response to incessant PLO missile attacks against northern Israeli towns. Arafat is exiled to Tunis.
Oct. 7, 1985: The Italian cruise ship Achille Lauro is hijacked by PLO terrorists. A wheelchair-bound elderly American, Leon Klinghoffer, was shot and thrown overboard. Intelligence reports note that instructions originated from Arafat's headquarters in Tunis.
We cannot sit idly by while FreshJive/Rick Klotz, these filthy purveyors of hate, glorify the acts, images and culture of terrorism -- and make themselves millionaires while doing it.
The Jewish Defense League co-sponsored and donated to the Act for America rally at the United Nations last month. I am proud of the friendship and camaraderie between our two most worthy organizations. And I am very pleased that the Los Angeles chapter of Act for America has agreed to co-sponsor a demonstration with us against FreshJive. Just as with other protests, we ask that participants bring American flags and placards and loud voices to express our disgust and revulsion of this company's cavalier attitude when it comes to Arab/Muslim terrorism.

The Jewish Defense League has called for the boycott and subsequent protest of a trendy Los Angeles clothing manufacturer that is callously cashing in on and consequently promoting Arab terrorism. Pictured on the shirt (below) is an Arab youth holding a rifle in various poses, along with the so-called "Palestinian" flag and the caption "Victimized." Fresh Jive, a Jewish-owned urban fashion producer, has been selling these shirt to such notable retailers as Urban Outfitters, which has since discontinued selling them online after JDL chairman Shelley Rubin contacted the UO corporation on May 20th:
PLEASE IMMEDIATELY ROUTE THIS EMAIL TO CEO RICHARD HAYNE! TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE!
My organization, the Jewish Defense League, was alerted to a product that was promoted and sold on the Urban Outfitters website and at your retail stores. We are extremely upset that the shirt, which I was informed is no longer available by customer service rep Samantha, is still on your website. However, by its existence on your website, you are still promoting terrorism and violence against the Jewish people.
We need to know if the shirts were recalled and destroyed or if you still have some in various stores and outlets. We also need to know how many of these despicable shirts were sold by your company.
We also want to know how much of your profits are donated to Arab/Muslim causes and which so-called charities you support. Certainly you have made your political agenda clear with these shirts being released for sale in the first place.
Please do not ignore this message. We are prepared immediately to call for protesters in front of all Urban Outfitters stores in the United States, Canada and in Europe.
/s/ Shelley Rubin
Hours after that message was sent, pages promoting the shirt on Urban Outfitter's site were taken offline. However, the shirts are still being sold directly from FreshJive. The following message was sent to FreshJive owner Rick Klotz on June 3rd:
Rick:
My organization, the Jewish Defense League, was alerted to an abominable t-shirt promoting Arab terrorism that your clothing company has created and marketed. On May 20, 2008, I sent Urban Outfitters CEO Richard Hayne an email [attached] of impending JDL demonstrations in front of UO stores selling that shirt across North America and Europe. That afternoon, UO removed all ordering features for the shirt from its website and by May 22, there was no more mention of that despicable shirt.
I am very disappointed that you refused to speak to me when I called your company this morning. I wanted to tell you that you have done irreparable harm to the Jewish People and to the State of Israel by glorifying the misplaced and violent nationalistic goals of the Arabs now living in Israel. And you continue to market that shirt on your website. Congratulations, Rick, you now have the blood on your hands of every Jew and innocent non-Jew murdered by the Arabs you glorify on that despicable shmatta that you sell for $24 a pop. That you are Jewish makes your actions even more heinous.
I contacted my board of directors and they have figured out that the result of your actions will cost the Jewish people at least $10 million in additional security measures. Now, how are you going to help us pay for that?
JDL is based in the Los Angeles area as your company is, too. If you would like to sit down and talk about this urgent matter, please let me know immediately. I'll be happy to drive into downtown L.A. to meet with you. But if I do not hear from you by the end of the business day, I'll start preparations for a demonstration outside your headquarters.
/s/ Shelley Rubin
Chairman Rubin spoke to Klotz after sending that message. He pleads ignorance when confronted with the fact that the shirt promotes Arab terrorism. Klotz contends that the shirt design identifies the Arab youth as the "true victim" of the Arab-Israeli conflict. Klotz fails to recognize that a picture is worth a thousand words, and the image found on this shirt is unmistakably one that promotes the illegitimate aspirations of the so-called "Palestinians," namely the destruction of Jewish sovereignty in the land of Israel. Additionally, the assertion that young Arab terrorists are the "true victims" is a dangerous falsehood - the true victims in the conflict are those on the receiving end Arab terrorism and belligerence. Join JDL's boycott of Fresh Jive, and check back often for updates to this page with protest details.
